PQ Monitor Calibrations are conducted with the three-phase 60,000-watt arbitrary waveform generators, three-phase 5,000-watt arbitrary waveform generator, and NIST-traceable three-phase power analyzer.

  • Three-Phase 60,000-Watt Arbitrary Waveform Generators: The waveform generator is capable of sourcing three phase, over 300 volts per phase, at more than 65 amperes. The generator is used to provide precisely controlled line power to equipment during tests. Computer interface capabilities make complex waveform generation accurate and repeatable. This generator is used to perform power quality testing on variable speed drives, 20 HP and under, and power quality mitigation equipment.
  • Three-Phase 5,000-Watt Arbitrary Waveform Generator: This generator is capable of sourcing more than 300 volts at more than 10 amperes, three-phase. The generator is used to simulate power quality anomalies to equipment under test. Computer interface capabilities make complex waveform generation accurate and repeatable. Power quality waveforms such as sags, surges, transients and temporary outages may be generated with adequate power to measure the performance of the equipment under test.
  • NIST-traceable Three-Phase Power Analyzer: The analyzer provides NIST-traceable measurements on virtually any waveforms encountered in practice, including those produced by the arbitrary waveform generators above and equipment that incorporates Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) power supplies. Measurements include input-output efficiency, harmonic measurement and analysis, voltage flicker, power and crest factor.
