Once a mainstay of the Columbus electrical supply, the Picway Plant is now one of our older, smaller coal-fired plants. Even with its age, Picway continues to be a leader in commercial availability in the AEP fleet. Its equipment and proximity to AEP's Technology Campus make it an ideal development site for technologies aimed at life extension, predictive maintenance, asset management and environmental improvements.
