In addition to providing technology assessment for one of the largest utilities in the US, we offer a variety of DER testing services for: 

• Generation - We have experience with microturbines, stirling engines, wind turbines and fuel cells
• Energy Storage - We have trial installations in place or planned for monitored batteries, flywheels and capacitors.
• Standard Tests - We are participating in the development of test protocols IEEE P1547 (Draft Standard for Interconnecting Distributed Resources with Electric Power Systems) and P1589 (Draft Standard for Conformance Test Procedures for Equipment Interconnecting Distributed Resources with Electric Power Systems) and will certify conformance under these standards for AEP as well as third party customers
• Grid Interconnection Sites - We have a 500-kw test pad and a 10-MW test pad underdevelopment with two 1.5 MW test bays currently in service.
